Description
The Old Mill House is a late 18th-century building located at 79 Villiers Road in Kingston-upon-Thames. It is two storeys high and has a basement, featuring a parapet front. The structure is made of brick and has a hipped tiled roof at both ends, with a chimney situated at the back.
The façade includes five sash windows with glazing bars and a central six-panel door. The upper panels of the door are moulded and fielded. The doorcase is adorned with a pedimented head that has dentils, pilasters, and detached columns with ornamental caps. Above the door, there is a semi-circular fanlight decorated with ornamental beadwork. An ornamental band runs at the impost level, and the windows are square-headed with gauged brick.
There is a modern single-storey addition to the left of the house, which is not considered of special interest.
