Description
Vine House is an early 18th century building that has been converted into offices. It is constructed of brown brick with red dressings and features tiled roofs. The main part of the house has five bays and is two storeys high with a garret, flanked by two-storey wings that each have two bays. The windows are square-headed sash types with gauged heads and glazing bars, although the ground floor windows have been modernized, replacing the original shop windows. There is cut brick ornamentation above the central window on the first floor, and a central plastered doorcase. The building has a wooden eaves cornice with modillions, brick coped gables, end stacks, and flat-headed dormers. The wings feature hipped roofs behind stone coped parapets.
