Description

The Roman Bridge at Osterley Park is a late 18th-century structure, likely designed by Robert Adam around 1780. It features a rusticated stone façade and consists of a single segmental arch. On either side of the arch, there are pairs of rusticated Roman Doric half-columns, and the arch is adorned with mask keystones. The bridge also includes an entablature and a parapet, showcasing an interesting design influenced by Piranesi, making it an early neo-classical monument.
