The George Inn is an early 18th-century building with alterations to the ground floor in the 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings. The building is three storeys high and features four double-hung sash windows in architraves, each with a rubbed flat arch above. A brick cornice with a cyma reversa and cyma recta design runs around the top. Two painted brick gables sit above the main structure, and the roof is covered in Welsh slate.
