Description
Nos. 69 and 71 on Boston Manor Road is an 18th-century house that has been divided into two dwellings. It is constructed of brown brick with red dressings and features two storeys and an attic. The building has four double-hung sash windows with plain surrounds and cambered relieving arches above the ground-floor windows. A well-designed porch, which has been relocated from another site, is supported by Roman Doric fluted columns and pilasters. The porch also includes an entablature with triglyphs and guttae, as well as a modillion and ovolo cornice. The roof is made of machine tiles, featuring a modillion eaves cornice and two dormers. The interior has undergone significant alterations, and the tenant reports that the fabric has been damaged due to its proximity to the road. Nos. 69, 71, 73, and 75 form a group.
