Description

The Coach and Horses Public House is a building likely dating from the 16th century that has been altered and extended. It has two storeys and four bays, featuring a high-pitched roof that has been renewed with machine tiles. The roof includes an off-centre compound stack, with its lower parts made of old brick. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is rendered. The windows are a mix of 19th-century and modern casements. On the left side, there is a modern lean-to extension that covers the two left bays, which has two hipped dormers above and bay windows below. Inside, a few old chamfered beams are visible. The building is listed partly due to its important position in the village centre.
