Description
No. 4 High Road is a late 18th-century building consisting of two sections, each two storeys high and featuring two windows. The roofs are slated, and the walls are made of painted brick, with the left section having a first-floor band. The windows are modern, whole sashes with small panes, and those on the ground floor are set beneath segmental brick arches, as are the doors. There are two modern square bays with small-paned windows, each covered by slated hoods. The centre window on the first floor of the right section is blocked. The building is noted for its location in the village centre.
