Description

The White Horse Public House is a 18th century building with brick elevations that date back to a 16th century timber-framed structure. The exterior has been whitewashed and features a tiled roof. It stands two storeys high and has four bays, with a brick dentil cornice. The centre bays on each floor contain horizontal sliding sash windows, while the first floor has blank outer panels. On the ground floor, there is a blocked door on the left and an entrance with a modern porch on the right. Inside, the ceilings are very low, and there is a significant amount of exposed timber, particularly upstairs, where the bay posts indicate a small open hall with a smoke bay, with a chimney added later.
