Description
Highway Farmhouse is an early 17th century building with an early to mid 18th century wing added at the front. It is constructed of red brick and features high pitched tiled roofs on both sections. There is an old compound stack located just south of the ridge of the older part of the building. The main south front has two storeys and three windows, with a first floor band. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars, including those in the ground floor's early 19th century canted bays. A central wooden porch, featuring a gothic arch, leads to a six-panel door set in a panelled reveal with a moulded architrave and side pilasters.
