Description

The gate piers to Stanmore Park, dating from the 19th century, are made of stone and feature a square design with vermiculated rustication and a Greek fret frieze. There are consoles on the left and right sides, topped with a blocking course and a low pyramid cap. Another pair of gate piers can be found in Gordon Avenue.
