Description
The Ha-Ha is an early 19th-century feature located on the north side of Ha-Ha Road and Charlton Park Lane, SE18. It is a hollow that stretches across the common from east to west. The southern bank is sloped, while the northern bank is vertical and supported by a stock brick wall. The feature extends from the south-east corner of Charlton Cemetery in the west to Woolwich New Road in the east, with two breaks allowing roads to cross it.
