Description

This drinking fountain is an obelisk made of unpolished grey granite, standing on a square plinth with a two-stepped platform. Copper plates on all four sides of the plinth feature faucets and basins, although all but one basin are missing. The obelisk has an inscription dedicated to Robert John Little of the Royal Marines, who died in 1861.
