Description
The Plume of Feathers Public House is an early 18th century building that stands two storeys high with an attic and features two windows. There is a left extension from the early 19th century that is two storeys tall and has one window. The building has a high-pitched roof with a rounded mansard, which has been renewed with machine tiles. It includes two hipped gabled dormers that have late 19th century casements. The left extension has a roof with a moderate pitch that is hipped on the left side. The first floor has early 19th century sash windows, with three-light windows in the main house and oriel bow windows in the left extension. The ground floor has three modernized shop fronts with central doors. At the back, the roof slopes low, and there is a long gable added in the late 19th century above it, along with a lean-to weatherboarded shed on the right.
