Description

This is a row of three cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century, situated on Wade’s Hill. Numbers 17 has two windows, while numbers 19 and 21 each have one. The cottages have fairly low-pitched, hipped roofs covered in tiles. Number 17 appears to be a rebuild in red brick, while the others are constructed of stock brick. They feature recessed sash windows with glazing bars, topped with arched brickwork. The doors are round-arched, and number 17 contains a reproduction door, fanlight, and a pedimented doorcase. Numbers 19 and 21 have half-glazed four-panel doors. A mid-19th century coach-house is linked to number 17 by a connecting wall. Numbers 17 to 21 are designated as a group of buildings of group value.
