Description

Nos 81 and 83 on Chase Side are early to mid-19th century buildings that may have originally been three separate homes, as indicated by a disused central door. The structure is two storeys high and features three windows in total. It has a fairly low-pitched hipped roof covered with slate. The building is constructed of yellow brick, with gauged flat brick arches and stone cills above the sash windows, which include glazing bars (two of the windows have been replaced). The doors have gauged round arches, with two doors having six panels and one door with four panels. Additionally, there are two radial fanlights. Nos 77 to 89 (odd) form a group with these buildings.
