Description

This listing describes a series of four bridges over the New River, constructed in the early to mid-19th century, with the northernmost bridge dated 1841. The bridges are made of wrought and cast iron, each featuring a segmental arch with open spandrels. They are supported by wrought-iron railings, which have handrails with scrolled ends. One of the bridges is located at the south end of Parsonage Gardens, while the others are situated on the east side of the river walk.
