Description

These are two late Georgian style houses, likely dating from around 1840 to 1850, and restored more recently in a Georgian style. The buildings are three storeys high, with four sash windows per floor, each having a cambered head, keystone, and slatted shutters. Brick canted bays extend from the ground floor and basement, featuring sash windows and angle columns. Stone lintels are above the windows, and the buildings are topped with a hipped slate roof. A Georgian style doorway is present, adorned with a cornice supported by consoles, leading to a panelled door with an ornamental fanlight. Steps with iron railings lead up to the entrance. Bracketed eaves are visible, and the roof is slate. The buildings are included on the list for their contribution to the group value of numbers 1 to 33 (odd), their surrounding walls and railings, and the adjacent coach house.
