Description
Enfield Court, also known as Enfield Grammar School Junior School, is an early to mid-18th century house that stands two storeys tall with an attic and basement, featuring six windows. The building is constructed of yellow brick with red brick dressings, and it has a stuccoed band on the first floor and a cornice band. The parapet has been rebuilt. The high-pitched roof is covered with green slate and includes modern curved dormers. The sash windows, which have glazing bars (some of which have been replaced), are set in exposed, moulded frames and are topped with gauged flat brick arches. To the left of the centre, there is a 19th-century prostyle porch that has been glazed in. The right return of the building has three bays, displaying brick bands and a lunette in the attic. The basement brickwork has been renewed. To the left, there is a seven-window extension that is slightly taller and built in a similar style.
