Nos 12 and 14 The Avenue, built around 1876 by E W Godwin, are a pair of two-storey and attic houses made of red and yellow brick, with some sections tile-hung and tiled roofs. The houses feature tile-hung gables above two-storey bay windows and have hooded entrance doors located on the side elevations.
