Description

No. 5 Queen Anne's Gardens is a building dating from around 1878, designed by R N Shaw as his first detached design. It is constructed of yellow brick, with the upper floor featuring tile-hanging and a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two windows and ground floor bays supported on brackets. There is a dormer with a gable on the left side. The entrance is located on the right-hand side, and a garage has been added to the left, although this is not of special interest. This building is notable as an exact example of Shaw's published design.
