Description

Nos 335 to 347 on Purley Way are an early 19th-century pair of houses, each three storeys high and three bays wide. They are constructed of stock brick, although the ground floor is obscured by modern shops. The first floor features sash windows with a cill band, while the second floor has smaller windows, which are modern casements. A modern iron balcony connects the two central windows on the second floor. On either side of the houses are projecting coach-houses made of red brick, which are two storeys tall. Each coach-house has a semi-circular window on the first floor, set under a brick relieving arch, and a plain open pediment. These elements contribute to the symmetrical design of the buildings.
