Hostye is a restored timber-framed building dating from the 17th century. It features plaster infilling, with the ground floor rebuilt in red brick. The northernmost window bay on the first floor is tile hung. The building has a hipped tiled roof and casement windows, and it stands two storeys tall with five windows in total.
