Description

Nos 46 to 54 on High Street in Chislehurst are a group of almshouses built by Manning and Anderson in 1881. The buildings are two storeys high with attics. The ground floor features timber framing and rendering, while the first floor is covered with curved tiles. The roof is tiled, featuring three gables and four hipped dormers, along with clustered brick chimney stacks. There are a total of 13 windows, primarily consisting of 12 storey bays with mullioned and transomed casements. The entrance areas have hipped weather porches with ogee arches supported by squat columns.
