Description

Parkmore is an early 20th-century house designed by architect Ernest Newton. It is an asymmetrical building of two storeys, constructed primarily of brown brick with red brick dressings. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring brick chimneystacks. Modern dormers have been added, and a central gable is finished in roughcast render with decorative detailing around its edges. The front elevation features four windows, one of which is a two-story bay window. A similar canted bay window extends through all floors of the left-hand side elevation. An original doorcase, now blocked, is surrounded by terracotta. Parkmore forms a group with Holne Chase and Copley Dene.
