Description

  2. Now a Girls' School. Mansion built by Francis Cooper. The earliest portion, dating from the late C18, is the South East front facing the garden and is of red brick. The North West front facing the road is early Cl9 and of yellow brick. Both consist of a centre portion of 3 storeys, which has 3 windows on the road front and 4 windows on the garden front, and 2 wings, which have 2 windows each on the road front and 3 windows each on the garden front. Cornice and parapet. Glazing bars intact. Painted string- course on road front. Doorway with pilaster strips and cornice. Photograph in NMR.
