Description
Beckenham Public Hall is an excellent building designed by architect George Viges in 1883, showcasing a playful Arts and Crafts style. The structure features five bays with a central entrance and consists of two storeys plus an attic. The facade is dominated by large second storey windows that are divided by shafts. It has a steep roof with two tiers of very small dormers, including five in the lower tier and four above. The building also has corner turrets that are corbelled out at the first floor level. The ground floor has round-headed windows made of yellow brick with red brick dressings, and the roof is tiled.
