Description
Lucas Square consists of numbers 60 to 82 (even) on Hampstead Way, located within the Hampstead Garden Suburb. Built around 1909 and designed by Geoffrey Lucas, it is a two-story quadrangular grouping of buildings constructed in a style resembling Tudor architecture. The buildings incorporate canted bays topped with gables, and feature doors sheltered by moulded hoods. The exterior is finished with roughcast plaster. A central feature located at the rear of the square is constructed of brick, distinguished by a shaped gable and two supporting stacks. The windows are small-paned wooden casements.
