Description
The monument to Thomas Skarratt Hall, who died in 1903, is located on West Avenue, Plot H7. It is made of polished pink granite and stands on a stone plinth. The design features a large sarcophagus inspired by the well-known sarcophagus of Cornelius Lucius Scipio Barbatus. The prismatic lid is adorned with a Doric frieze and has volutes at the corners. The lettering is presented in a stylised version of late Antique Roman script.
