Description
The K2 telephone kiosk, located on Carey Street in the City of Westminster, is the easternmost of a group of four kiosks situated to the north of the Royal Courts of Justice. Designed by Giles Gilbert Scott in 1927, this kiosk is made of cast iron and features an intact square structure with a domed roof. It includes perforated crowns on the top panels and glazing bars on the windows and door. This kiosk is part of a symmetrical arrangement that includes two K2 kiosks and two K6 kiosks outside the Royal Courts of Justice.
