Description
The Jackalope is a mews public house located at 43 Weymouth Mews in the City of Westminster. It was built in the early to mid 19th century and features a stucco facade with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and four windows wide. The ground floor has a pilastered public house frontage with a central, panelled-riser bar window, flanked by panelled and glazed doors, topped with an entablature-fascia. The first floor contains sash windows set in eared architraves. At the top, there is a crowning stucco cornice and blocking course, along with a mid-19th century "Windsor" lantern mounted on a cast iron bracket. The interior of the pub retains its original bar fittings and shelving.
