Description

A row of six houses located at 2-12 West Eaton Place in the City of Westminster, built in the middle of the 19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco, with a hidden roof. They rise to five storeys above a basement and each house has a three-window facade. Each house features a projecting Doric porch with a triglyph frieze, although numbers 10 and 12 have pilastered facades with arched entrances. The ground floor windows are architraved, and the first floor has a continuous balustraded balcony. First floor windows are within pediments, while those on the second and third floors are corniced. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and the first-floor windows are French casements. A console cornice sits above the fourth floor. Cast iron area railings are present.
