Description

No. 3, Nottingham Street is a terraced town house dating from circa 1790, situated in the City of Westminster. The building is constructed of stock brick with a channelled stucco ground floor, and has a concealed slate roof. It comprises four storeys and a basement, with a width of three windows. A semicircular arched doorway is located on the left-hand side, featuring a panelled door set within fluted jambs, a lion head studded doorhead, and a radial patterned fanlight above. The upper floors feature recessed sash windows, each set beneath a flat, gauged arch. A plat band defines the end of the stucco work at the first floor level. A parapet with coping sits above, and cast iron area railings topped with urn finials are present at street level.
