Description
No. 5, Nottingham Street is a circa 1790 terraced town house. It is constructed of stock brick with a concealed slate roof and extends to four storeys and a basement. The building has a two-window frontage. A semicircular arched doorway is located on the left-hand side, with a panelled door, reeded jambs and head, and a fanlight above. The windows are recessed sash windows with flat, gauged arches above. A parapet with stone coping runs along the roof line. Decorative cast iron balconettes with a geometric pattern are present on the first floor, and cast iron spike area railings are also visible.
