Description
Tower House is a tenement flat building constructed around 1903, likely designed by H. Fuller Clark. It features a combination of red and purple brick, glazed brick, and Portland stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building showcases a Free Style Arts and Crafts design with some elements reminiscent of "Wrenaissance" architecture. It stands five storeys tall, with a basement and a dormered mansard roof, and is three windows wide. The central entrance is hooded and arched, with a small tent-roof oriel above it and a low swept parapet tower. On either side of the entrance, there are three-storey oriels with shaped parapets, and the upper floors have casement lights with glazing bar exposed from sashes. The building is topped with a swept parapet. For further context, it is related to Nos 59 and 61 Riding House Street, W1.
