Description
Alexandra Lodge at Alexandra Gate is a lodge built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of stone and features a low hipped slate roof. The building is single storey with three bays on both the front and sides. A central porch is pedimented and supported by coupled Doric columns, with the outer pair being rusticated. Rusticated Doric pilasters are also present. The lodge has a large central stack and is part of a group that includes gates and gatepiers.
