Description

This is a row of six early 19th-century houses with ground-floor shops, located on William Street in the City of Westminster. The buildings are constructed of yellow brick, with roofs hidden from view. They stand four storeys high, including an attic level, and each house is two windows wide. The windows have square heads with gauged arches above. The first-floor windows are casements, while those above are sash windows. A stucco cornice runs above the second floor. Cast iron balconies are present on the first floor of each house. The shop fronts are largely 20th-century replacements.
