Description

The Statue of George III is an equestrian statue located on an island at the junction with Pall Mall East in the City of Westminster. It was created between 1835 and 1836 by M. Cotes Wyatt, who was the youngest son of James Wyatt. The statue is made of bronze and is life-sized, standing on a curved-ended pedestal made of Portland stone. It features a realistic portrayal of the King dressed in "Windsor Uniform," with the horse accurately harnessed and saddled.
