Description
Little Ben is a freestanding clock located at the junction of Victoria Street and Vauxhall Bridge Road in the City of Westminster. It was first erected in 1892 and is made of cast iron. The clock has a square section and features four main stages of decorated cast iron, with the clock stage being the widest. It is topped with a pinnacled narrow octagonal stage that has an ogee dome and a weathervane. The clock was taken down in 1964 but was restored and rebuilt in 1981, as noted on the inscription at its base.
