Description
This is a row of houses located at 15-17 Chester Street in Westminster, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The buildings feature altered brick with channelled stucco on the ground floor. No 15 has four storeys, while Nos 16 and 17 have five storeys, with a basement present throughout. Each house is two windows wide and has square-headed entrances with various panelled doors. Nos 15 and 17 have arched windows on the ground floor. A continuous cast iron balcony is located on the first floor. The windows are square-headed, architraved sash windows, some with glazing bars, and there are French casements on the first floor. A stucco cornice is present above the second floor, and there are cast iron spearhead railings in the area.
