Description
No. 12 Cleveland Row is a terrace house built in the late 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. The building features brown brick construction with a stuccoed ground floor that has banded rustication and a slate roof. It stands five storeys tall and is two windows wide. The doorway on the right is framed by a mid-18th century stone doorcase with a pediment and Tuscan columns. The ground floor has a single wide window, and the upper floors have similar windows with revealed sashes and no glazing bars, all set under flat gauged arches. The parapet has coping, and both the first and third floors are adorned with full-width early 19th century cast iron balconies.
