Description

This is a row of houses on Bathurst Street, dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco and are four storeys high, with an attic mansard roof and balconies. Numbers 6 to 8 are grouped together, with number 6 being two windows wide, while the others are three windows wide. The ground floor features channelling. Projecting Ionic porches are present, and a continuous cast iron balcony runs along the first floor. Windows are square-headed, with architraves to the first and second floors, and cornices to the first floor. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with a French casement to the first floor. A main cornice sits above the third floor. The buildings are included on the list solely for their group value.
