Description
This is an early 19th-century terrace of three buildings on Harcourt Street in Westminster. The buildings are constructed of yellow stock brick, with channelled stucco to the ground floor of number 30 and stucco to the second-floor sill band. The roof is concealed. The terrace is three storeys high, although number 31 has had a fourth floor added. Each building has two bays.
Number 29 has a 19th-century shop front with a swept fascia and cornice, incorporating a six-panel door. A similar shop front is found at number 31, though this has been much altered. Number 30 features a sash window with glazing bars on the left side, while the recessed right side contains a round keyed arch with 20th-century glass doors. A first-floor balcony with an iron railing is also present on number 30.
Numbers 29 and 30 have sash windows with glazing bars, while number 31 has casement windows. Number 31 has flat, gauged brick arches, while numbers 29 and 30 have stucco arches. Number 30 has hoods on consoles to its first-floor windows, and number 31 is included on the listing for group value.
