Description

This building is a terrace of early to mid-19th century origin, located on a corner site in York Street and Harcourt Street, City of Westminster. It is constructed of yellow stock brick with a concealed roof behind a parapet. The building has three storeys and a basement. The street facing facades are three bays wide on Harcourt Street and four bays wide on York Street. Alterations in the 19th century have resulted in shop fronts with pilasters, fascias, and cornices. A double door provides access to the corner entrance. The windows are double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The Harcourt Street windows have gauged brick flat arches, while the York Street windows have soldier arches. Basement railings with fleur-de-lys finials are present. The building is included on the list solely for its group value.
