Description

The K2 Telephone Kiosk, located at the eastern side of a pair at the south side of the junction with Chapel Street, was built in 1927 by Giles Gilbert Scott. This kiosk is made of cast iron and features an intact square design typical of the K2 type, complete with a domed roof, perforated crowns on the top panels, and glazing bars on the windows and door. It is one of a pair of K2 kiosks situated at this road junction.
