Description

A row of four early 19th-century houses located on the south-east side of Halkin Street. The houses are built of yellow brick with slate mansard roofs and feature three storeys each, with No. 4 having four storeys plus attics and basements. Each house generally has three windows wide, though No. 3 has four. Round-headed entrances are present at Nos. 2 and 3, and are surrounded by stucco. The panelled doors are varied. The ground floor of No. 1 is stuccoed. A segmental arched carriageway is located to the right side of No. 3. Windows have square, gauged heads. Most windows are sashes, though No. 4 features casements. The windows largely contain small panes, and have wrought iron detailing. "Gothick" balconies are found on the first floor. The houses have parapets and cast iron area railings.
