Description

A row of six houses, numbered 42 to 50, located on Eaton Terrace in the City of Westminster, built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with channelled stucco to the ground floor. They are four storeys high, with a basement level, except for number 50 which is three storeys. Each house has two windows across the front. Each property features a round-headed entrance with a panelled door. The windows are mostly square-headed, sashed windows, and retain their original glazing bars. The first floor of each house has cast iron decorative elements: anthemion balconettes, except at number 44, which has a 19th-century spearhead cast iron balustrade. Parapets run along the roofline. Cornices are present on numbers 44 and 48. The front of the houses is bounded by cast iron area railings.
