Description

This is a block of terraced houses located on Elizabeth Street, returning into Ebury Street and featuring a curved corner. The building dates from the early to mid-19th century and has undergone alterations. It is constructed of brick, with some stucco to the ground floors. The roof is not visible. The building is three storeys high with an attic. The Elizabeth Street section has two windows wide per house, and incorporates a 19th and 20th century shop at ground floor level. The Ebury Street range has square-headed entrances. A continuous cast iron balcony runs along the first floor. The windows are square-headed with gauged heads, sash glazing bars. A cornice is positioned above the second floor, with a subsidiary cornice to the attic, which is mutilated on some houses. Area railings are present on Ebury Street.
