Description

The K6 telephone kiosk, located adjacent to the eastern end of the ornamental screen at Queens Gate, was built in 1935 and designed by Giles Gilbert Scott. This cast iron kiosk is an intact example of the K6 type, featuring a domed roof, unperforated crowns on the top panels, and margin glazing on the windows and door. It is one of a pair of kiosks that flank Queens Gate.
