Description

The gates, gatepiers, and railings at Queen's Gate were constructed in 1858 and are made of Portland stone and cast iron. This elaborate structure features five pairs of intricate cast iron gates, with the central pair displaying a royal crest. There are four cast iron openwork gatepiers topped with globe lanterns. The entire composition is flanked by two Portland stone piers, each adorned with bronze figures of birds and fawns.
