Description

The statue of Lord Napier of Magdala is an equestrian statue located in the center of the roadway at the north end next to Kensington Road. It was created in 1891 by sculptor Sir Edgar Boehm and is made of bronze, standing on a granite pedestal. This statue is a replica of the original that was erected in Calcutta and was previously situated in Waterloo Place. The statue is partly within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
